Cymry Cymraeg – Welsh Speakers
Between 600,000 and 700,000 people speak Welsh as their first or preferred language. Informal studies estimate the number of people who understand or have some connection to Welsh in Wales and England to be as high as 1.2 million.
Only about one percent of the total population is Evangelical Christian and consider themselves “born again.” Consequently, potentially 99% of Welsh speakers are spiritually lost.
